Sul rapporto tra natura e manufatti umani, il progetto audiovisuale dell’artista giapponese pioniere dell’arte generata con le nuove tecnologie. A cura del Conservatorio G. Nicolini, in occasione dell’inaugurazione di XNL Musica.

The Giuseppe Nicolini Conservatory was founded as a School of Music in 1839 and, after some transformations and a process of nationalisation, in 1977 it became a “conservatory” included in the system of Higher Artistic and Musical Education. Today Nicolini is the largest of the first circle conservatories around Milan and can count on around a hundred first-rate teachers, who attract students from all over Italy and abroad.

Among the facilities available: three organs, two Steinway grand pianos and numerous ‘mezza grand’ pianos, a library, a concert hall served by recently renovated cutting-edge equipment for audio and video recording and a control room responsible for digital editing and post-production.

In the spaces of the XNL Piacenza centre, the conservatory sets up four rooms with specific acoustic treatment for teaching and experimentation, one of these ambisonic and one for ensemble music, activating a space for experimentation, training, enjoyment and production dedicated to new frontiers of jazz and electronic music.
